Hi, I'm Brian. I'm an Artist + Designer living in Chicago.
This is my space to talk about my art and sometimes other things like pop culture, advertising and robots.
The Pennsylvania Tourism Office and Ripple Effects Interactive have created another fun campaign (www.GroundhogCrossing.com) for the annual celebration of Groundhog Day.
According to Ripple Effects, the premise of this campaign is that the Groundhog’s counterpart, the Shadow, has fled Punxsutawney, overwhelmed with the pressure that every time the Groundhog spots him, the world faces six more weeks of winter. Missing his lifelong friend, the Groundhog makes a cross-country trek to recover the Shadow and return to Pennsylvania in time for Groundhog Day.
Exploring clothing as an expression of human needs and desires, PATTERN LANGUAGE : Clothing as Communicator goes beyond the everyday use of clothing to create new interaction between clothing and it’s wearers.
Organized by the Tufts University Art Gallery the exhibit is currently featured at one of my favorite Frank Gehry buildings, the Frederick R. Weisman art museum in Minneapolis.
Pattern Language runs October 14–January 7, 2007.
One of my favorite bakeries, Alliance Bakery & Cafe has some yummy best breads, pastries,
and cakes.
Isolated and alone the world’s most popular Groundhog carries a heavy weight on his shoulders.
